The past year or two, I've been practicing a kind of improvisational meditation.  While in this particular altered state, I worked out a series of meditation exercises.  I hope these exercises will be useful to you.  Try any one of them on a given day and see what they do to you.  My suggestion would be devote at least a week to any exercise in particular.  While doing these, you may develop your own variations that work better for your own personal reality.
